New members

We are always looking to welcome new members, regardless of ability.  So whether you are an experienced player or a newcomer to the game, you are most welcome to come along and have a look around.  New members are introduced to a handful of members of similar standard, so that they can organise some friendly matches.  We recommend new members join the (free) internal league system which is updated every calendar month - a great opportunity to meet other players.

There is a ceiling on full member numbers so, on occasion, new applicants for membership may need to join as an associate member (with restricted booking rights for an interim period) once that ceiling is reached. Members who join part-way through the year may be offered an appropriately reduced fee for the first (part) year.

Membership renewal

Membership categories and cost per annum:

Adult - £220 (£200 if paid by method 1)

Family (2 parents and any children in full time education) - £380  (£360 if paid by method 1)

Student (19+ and on a full-time course of study at 1st July 2021) - £100  (£80 if paid by method 1)

Junior (Aged between 14 and 18 on 1 July 2021) - £50  (£30 if paid by method 1)

Mini (Aged under 14 on 1 July 2021) - £Nil

In all categories other than Junior and Mini the above figures include £10 credit

per member on a Rhiwbina Recreation Club membership card, which will be issued to all

members aged 18 or over. Junior members aged under 18 on 1 July 2021 will pay

an additional £10 for a membership card on their 18th birthday.

If joining after 1 July 2021 (mid-year) the mid-year joining fee list will apply.



Annual membership fees can be paid in a one-off payment or by monthly instalments, and there is no joining fee.
